Hey, although I am not pregnant yet, I am looking for a cool way to tell FH or probably DH at the time hehe, when it does happen! I think it was MEB who said you were getting a "world's number one dad" cup to serve coffee in, and I thought that idea was so neat! I'm also looking for some cool ways to break the news without actually outright saying it, thanks!

I would love to have a great way to tell my DH when our time comes as well. We are not pregnant and we are not going to TTC until the end of the year, so I have lots of time to come up with something.
My DH is really into sports so I was thinking of getting a baby jersey with our last name on the back for his favourite team. Either that or a some kind of baby gear with the Blue Jays or Raptors logo on it. I could give it to him the day we get our BFP.
I was also thinking of putting a bun in the oven and when DH comes home I would ask him to check on my food in the oven. See if he catches on.
2003 - We met on the internet
2004 - We got engaged at his brother's wedding
2006 - We tied the knot
2008 - Getting ready to do the next step
2009 - Want to be knocked up!

| I did the "bun in the oven" thing. I put my tests and a bun in our oven and asked him to check on "dinner". He got it right away and was so cute The other thing I've seen people do and that I thought about doing myself was getting a bandana or t-shirt for our cats that say " big brother" and "big sister" (they have them for dogs too) but that only works if you have pets LOL
Call me Mel Having our first baby A BOY!! September 12 Wedding is no longer any of our 3 2008 dates. It will be 2010 - probably spring. Will decide on a date later. Perhaps I will be a "marchbride" again? Hey. At least I have a solid year now!!!

I have a tank top that I got when I was pregnant with our son that says "We're Hungry". I plan to wear that next time I get pregnant as my way to say "Hey, you're going to be a daddy again!".

| I went out and bought a cute baby card that was blank on the inside and wrote (my exact words!) To daddy, I love you and can't wait to meet you in November! Don't worry, I am safe and sound inside of mommy, growing and getting big and strong until we meet! Love always, your baby! But the cool thing about it is I addressed the envelope and put it in with my DH's mail! He has this thing that everyday once he gets home from work he opens his mail right away. Well when he walked in I said, "oh, your mail is on the table" and then he started opening his mail one by one...needless to say I was very anxious and could harldy bare it!! I was waiting in our office on the computer while he was doing this.. Suddenly he walked in the office with card in tow and tears streaming down his face! He was like....."really?!!" and he came over and gave me the hugest hug and kiss ever! It was the best moment (of course along with our wedding day!) ever! I will never forget it!!

DH was out with his mom who was visiting from Ontario when i found out we were pregnant. I ran out to the store and bought a couple of onsies and wrote "I Heart Papa" on one and "I Heart Noko" on the other. I left them on the back of the couch where I knew they would see them when they came in the door. I was in the bedroom and heard this, "NO! What? Becca????" I was walking down the hall to the leaving room crying and DH came running around the corner laughing and crying all at the same time. it was perfect!
