I went out and bought a cute baby card that was blank on the inside and wrote (my exact words!) To daddy, I love you and can't wait to meet you in November! Don't worry, I am safe and sound inside of mommy, growing and getting big and strong until we meet! Love always, your baby! But the cool thing about it is I addressed the envelope and put it in with my DH's mail! He has this thing that everyday once he gets home from work he opens his mail right away. Well when he walked in I said, "oh, your mail is on the table" and then he started opening his mail one by one...needless to say I was very anxious and could harldy bare it!! I was waiting in our office on the computer while he was doing this.. Suddenly he walked in the office with card in tow and tears streaming down his face! He was like....."really?!!" and he came over and gave me the hugest hug and kiss ever! It was the best moment (of course along with our wedding day!) ever! I will never forget it!! Aw, that's so sweet! You've got me all teary now! (LOL - damn hormones!) OMG...I just got chills reading this! What a great idea...I just may have to steal it!

Awww those ideas are all so cute ladies!! I wanted to tell my DH in a cool way.. but he was home when I took the test and I just came out of the bathroom and was like "Uhh honey, you're going to want to see this...!" haha I was only a day late on my 2nd cycle off the pill, so I didn't even really know if I was "late" or not.. so we didnt think I would see the BFP so soon! lol

I was going to think of a really fun way to tell DH too but when it happened I was so shocked / excited etc that I just called him right away, he was at a work conference, not so fun and cute but at least he'll always remember that conference, lol. The only reason I'm glad I did that was that it was just uncontained and unprocessed emotions on both of our parts, we both pretty much found out together and got to experience the shock and joy together, via phone, eugh, this doesn't sound as good as it actually was.
Expecting #2 on July 23, 2008 It's going to be a boy!! Woohoooooo!!!

I've often wondered how I would tell my DH ... I've thought of most of the ideas suggested already ... and I'm just not sure what I'll do yet. There are just far too many cute suggestions to choose from. It's such a significant event .. arghh I guess since I'm not preggo yet, I've got lots of time to think of something lol ... and I'm sure I'll be asking for suggestions from everyone when it's my time. So I hope more of you post suggestions here ... they are all great ideas!!
