HI!
My fiance Chris and I are planning to be married April 9, 2009 at the Riu Bachata in Puerto Plata. Does anyone have any feedback on this resort and/or pictures?

Sorry, I havent been to that resort but was married at a Riu in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and LOVED IT!! I have heard wonderful things about the Riu chain and would love to see more of the resorts! Have you checked out www.tripadvisor.com for some photos and reviews?

I was married at th RIU Paradise Island, Bahamas and it was a great resort! My wedding planner wasn't that great though.

| Hi My Fiance and I will be married in Nov 2008 at the Riu Bachata in Puerto Plata. My travel agent said that she has had a few couples go there and they really liked it. Plus isn't it worth it just for that gazebo !!! Otherwise I have no specifics but everyone says Riu's are great resorts. Let me know if you hear any thing.

| I was at this resort in February (its where I got engaged). I don't know anything about the wedding process there - but the regular staff were amazing, and the resort is incredible! And the gazebo is beautiful - there was a couple getting married there one afternoon - but I didn't see where they had the reception. You will definitely enjoy the resort!

I got married at a RIU.. and loved it. i have meet many people that have gone to Riu resorts.... and have not heard anything bad about this line. However, i have not talked to anyone that has stayed at your resort.
