| Hi Ladies, I can't seem to find a program paper kit that I like enough to use so I was going to make them myself. Will they look formal enough if I just print them off onto a heavier paper and then tie a bit of ribbon in the center at the top? I would like them to be long rectangles-standing upright though. I don't think I have seen a picture that shows what I mean, hopefully you can visualize what I mean. I'd also like a nice classy idea for a card box- I love the idea of a wedding cake but i don't want people to be confused as to what the fake cake is there for. I don't want anyone to mistake it for our actual wedding cake. I also have small glass top tins for the favours for the women and I can't think of what to fill them with besides candy or bath salts. I don't mind doing bath salts but I'd like something scented and coloured and I haven't been able to find any large quantities of these salts. Any other suggestions are appreciated!

Hi Ladies, I can't seem to find a program paper kit that I like enough to use so I was going to make them myself. Will they look formal enough if I just print them off onto a heavier paper and then tie a bit of ribbon in the center at the top? I would like them to be long rectangles-standing upright though. You could always print them onto paper and then glue them onto a heavy cardstock... then they're more than just paper. Lots of pics of cardboxes out there... keep looking. no one will mistake you're cardbox for a "fake cake" if it isn't beside the cake I also have small glass top tins for the favours for the women and I can't think of what to fill them with besides candy or bath salts. I don't mind doing bath salts but I'd like something scented and coloured and I haven't been able to find any large quantities of these salts. Make your own salts!! They are super easy and then they can be whatever colour and smell you want! I have a recipe here somewhere if you want it. My sister makes them for me all the the time. Any other suggestions are appreciated! Hope I helped!

Another thing you could do with regard to the invitations is print the text off on vellum (that semi-transparent paper you can get at craft and stationary/scrapbooking stores) and then lay the velum over a nice cardstock or something, punch holes through both papers at the top and tie them together through the holes with ribbon. Hopefully you can understand what I mean!
