Friends have asked for some help in findng an affordable beautiful place for their wedding at the end of Aug 2010 or beg. of Sept 2010. They were interested in Antigua but then realized it is hurricane season. Any other suggestions?>

Hurricane season runs from June - November. That being said I do believe the most active month is actually September. They could try Aruba which is gorgeous and technically outside the hurricane belt but of course it is not immune from them totally. What about doing a cruise? At that time they could do Europe or Alaska. Both would offer a wonderful different option for a wedding.
