My mom and BioF got divorced when I was young and my mom remarried to my dad (step dad but really really close) who lived with us since I was 4 but got married when I was 13. So for my Invitations it says something along the lines of... Alicia Lynn Zacharewicz and Justin Daniel Dankmeyer together with their parents Ian and Brenda Lodge and Daniel and Barbra Dankmeyer blah blah blah... should I leave it like that or change it to Alicia Lynn Zacharewicz and Justin Daniel Dankmeyer together with their parents Ian and Brenda Lodge and John Zacharewicz and Daniel and Barbra Dankmeyer blah blah blah... I know I post alot of stupid questions... but remember Im planning this whole thing alone... thanks for everyones help

Hmmmmm...if your bio father is still part of your life, I would definelty include his name. This may be a sore spot so you might want to feel out your mom and stepfather and bio father to see where their heads are at. I did the same thing and was surprised at how accomidating everyone was. Don't cause yourself unnecessary stress as everyone else will contribute stress willingly. Best of luck

I am a firm believer in including parents names out of respect, whether they are alive, passed away or missing in action.   No matter what, he is still your father. He may not be "daddy" since your step dad is in the picture ... but he is still your father and deserves some respect and recognition especially if he is attending your wedding.

I was having a hard time figuring out who to put on my invites as well as far as bio parents and step parents, I ended up just saying together with their parents, and didnt list their actual names...

Together with their parents resolves this issue.

Or,

Mom and stepfather

Father

FH's parents

I agree that your father is and always will be your father so he should be included. However, your stepfather has played a pretty big role in your life as well from the sounds of it, so IMO he should be included as well. If you don't want to include your stepfather then you can do as follows:

Mother's full name and Father's full name

FH's parents

Definitely not a silly question - just complicated!!! I think invitation wording is quite difficualt.
