ops, let me clarify.

i thought the main question was for table numbers. you know the ones in the centre of the table with a number on it. not name card holders.

Yeah, main question was about table number holders but alot of the ones suggested work for both name holders and table number holders.

Renting is for sure an option - - and I'm close to just accepting that and ordering them.
