Most halls will have you sit the "help" in the same banquet room as your guests --- but it's good to check first.  But from all etiquette reading that I have done... you should NEVER sit them at the same table as any of your guests.  They should have their own table all to themselves, usually towards the back of the hall/out of the way.  This is because it could come across as offensive to some of your guests if they're seated at the same table as the "help" (ie: your good friend from highschool is seated at the same table as your photographer for the night.... how special will she really feel??).  This is, of course, only what I have read about.... but whatever makes you feel more comfortable!

Wow!  I sat my photographers at a table with a group of my friends that I thought they would have the most fun with.  It would never have even crossed my mind that my friends might have been offended - and they weren't!  That sounds kind of snobby to me.
