It doesn't sound like you think her wedding is overshadowing yours, it sounds like you miss your friends and family, and who wouldn't get a little nostalgia when you see them enjoying eachother's company? I totally feel for you, and hope that you can enjoy the rest of your wedding planning!

| I think most of us go through some period like that, and it's just amplified when you're so far away from everyone...I get the same feeling since I don't get to have any of the pre-wedding parties and such because I live so far away from my friends and family too. My cousin is getting married in august, and it's hard to hear her talk about her pre-wedding hype. It does get better, especially as the day gets closer - for a while my wedding was the last thing I wanted to deal with because of the lack of hype - now that it's only 46 days away, I'm stoked again! Hugs to you and remember - it will get better!
