I just reached my goal yesterday! Woo hoo!

I went from 144 to 115lbs. in exactly 5 months. Wow, was it fun clothes shopping last week. My suggestions: Drink lots of water, write down everything you eat, having another weight loss buddy (or this message board), limit processed foods and salt intake. Good luck

Congrats!!!!

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.

Making the decision to have a child-it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom.

To understand a mother's love, bear your own children.

Mother is the name for God on the lips& in the hearts of little children.

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.

Mrs. M and loving it!!!

Where are you ladies?? Hello?? Weight loss support ladies??? It seems like no one is around this thread..well, here is me this week 168 so up a pound from last week which is fine due to what kind of a "special week" is starting tomorrow. Look for the big number loss next week, a more true weight. I feel really good about how I am doing and havereally increased my exercise which is great for overall health for me. Saw my family this weekend and they were surprised at how much I have lost and how different I look. Not that I see a huge difference but some people do and that is fun. Must go now, FH had an easter egg hunt set up for me this a.m. so mini eggs are calling...PMS give me a break!

Hey ladies
Well, I'm not sure how I'm doing with my weight loss. I'm not actually losing any pounds, but I feel thinner....and I bought jeans yesterday that are a size smaller than my old jeans...woo hoo down in the single digit sizes again! I wish I could look at the scale and have it show that I'm losing weight!
Oh well, I guess as long as I'm feeling better, and my clothes are fitting well, that's all that matters, right?
Anyone else feeling the same way?

JJF I am here, but it does seem like no one has been around!

So things were going just OK...I weighed myself on Saturday on my parents really accurate scale...143.6lbs (down from 145) BUT we had Easter dinner and lots of junk food Saturday night/Sunday so any progress was lost. Now I will spend this week trying to get back to where I just was! Arrrgh. I was hoping to be 140 by now but it didn't happen.

Current Weight:  165

Goal Weight: 145

I'm following the Canada Food Guide portions and servings and filling in a chart to help me keep track.  I just want to eat healthy, but I can't cut out any food groups, so this was the best way for me.
