| KatiesDay - I agree with what Dansfiance wrote. Who's posts are you reading???? There is no one who I have read who is doing anything that will jepordize their health or safety. Everyone on here who was on the last thread on the old boards are being quite logical and trying to loose weight by changing their lifestyles and most of these women are doing it by using Weight Watchers (which teaches healthy eating of ALL foods), cutting out the junk food and exercising. As for Herbal Magic, well not everyone has the money to invest in that kind of treatment and if you were on the old boards, you would have read that a few girls on CB tried Herbal Magic, lost weight and then gained it all back. That is great that it has worked for you but this thread is not meant to critisize what we are trying to do to loose weight for not only our weddings but our health. JJF

KatiesDay (4/19/2006) I am sorry if I sound a little harsh, but I sit and I read all of your plans, but its just heart breaking because they arent't attainable goals, and the only thing you can plan on is weight gain because you are stressing yourself out, and putting your body in a un-natural state. You don't sound harsh, you sound like you are trying to sell herbal magic. If you have sat and read all of our plans, then you would know most of us are talking about changing diet and exercise, the only REAL way to lead a healthy lifestyle, and lose weight safely. So you are saying that by me going to the gym 2-3 times per week, and cutting out things like pop and chips, that is an "unnatural state" Interesting. I guess I should consult my family doctor and get back to you on that one then.

Start weight: 150 lbs. Current weight: 140 lbs. Goal weight: 120 lbs. Height: 5'2 3/4"Well, I've been doing Carmen Electra DVD's they are fun, although not really that great to loose a bunch of weight. I've started running, and wow is my butt ever looking better, start with running 1 minute, walk 1 minute, then work your way up, until you're running 4 km, that took me just over a month to get to. Have your FH help you, mine rollerblades beside me and pushes me, because he knows I want to look good at the wedding. Plus, who wouldn't complain to a guy with a six pack? I'm also starting to do about 200 sit ups every night, he's doing them with me. It's a great way for us to relax, and spend some time together, I'm enjoying it. Wow saying I enjoy working out, it's almost as amazing as actually saying my old weight, I don't think I've admitted to it before.

heather972 (4/19/2006) Have your FH help you, mine rollerblades beside me and pushes me, because he knows I want to look good at the wedding.LOL...I am picturing you roller blading with FH ACTUALLY pushing you. That's not helpful! Way to go on your exercising...it is really hard to stick with it, and it's great that you are enjoying it!

No, No, I run, he rollerblades beside me. Hahahahha like he would actually go and get any exercise on his own. I swear that the only way I can get him to do that much is the fact that I told him that I need the help, although it does help. Hehehehe the things we do for our guys.

| My comments were harsh but true. "There is a difference between interest and commitment. When youre interested in doing something, you do it when circumstances permit. Commitment is accepting no excuses." If I have offended many of you, sorry. I read many posts about people trying and trying and trying and falling off the wagon. Either get busy losing or come to realization that you are who you are.

| I still don't see where you are coming up with your comments. Who are the people who are not committed? All of us ladies who have signed on to this thread and the old thread ARE committed and we have ALL lost weight. I think your harsh but true comments are more a reflection of how you are feeling perhaps about yourself and maybe you have come to accept the way you look as you have not stated that you are joining this thread for support with your weight loss efforts. I think it is healthy that you have a positive body image regardless of your size. I am also wondering if you are a Herbal Magic employee as you have posted the same exact post in numerous thread...trying to drum up some business? I hope that all the ladies are having a great week and this finds you well and enjoying the sunshine! JJF
